Meet Dr. Havens & Dr. Kwon

Bruce A. Havens, DDS, PhD

Dr. HavensDr. Havens graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1999. He went on to earn his Certificate in Orthodontics and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Havens has shared his vast knowledge of orthodontics by lecturing across the United States and by serving on the faculty at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, Department of Orthodontics from 2004-2008. As a published author, he has written multiple articles that have been featured in basic science and orthodontic literature.

To stay up to date and current with all the latest advancements in the field of orthodontics, Dr. Havens maintains active memberships with several prestigious professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Fresno-Madera Dental Society and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists.

Dr. Havens gives back to his local community through his work with the Valley Children’s Hospital Craniofacial Anomalies Clinic and seeing patients that may require orthodontic treatment.

Dr. Havens grew up in Porterville, California, and is happy to have returned to the area where his extended family lives. Outside the office, Dr. Havens enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending time with his family. His wife, Julie, is a high school French teacher at Clovis North High School. They have three children: Liz, Alex, and Drew.
